Februari bolehlah dikatakan bulan istimewa untuk saya. Pertama, saya dilahirkan pada hari ke-20 bulan ini. Dulu masa sekolah selalu 'perasan' kerana ia sama dengan hari lahir Kurt Cobain yang boleh dikatakan sebagai pencetus fenomena muzik Grunge pada dekad 1990-an, terutama selepas Nirvana menebitkan album Nevermind.
Saya tidak ada banyak kenangan lain tentang Februari. Jarang sekali benar-benar menyambut hari kelahiran.
Kemudian, saya bertemu dengan Siti Kamariah, isteri saya yang juga dilahirkan dalam bulan Februari. Kami berkenalan dan mengikat tali pertunangan pada 14 Februari 2010.
Selalun apabila Februari tiba saya akan teringat lagu February Stars yang dimainkan oleh Foo Fighters, kumpulan muzik yang diasaskan oleh bekas anggota Nirvana. Saya fikir lagu ini tentu ditujukan mereka kepada Cobain.
